Cadet & Youth Group Training
Your training events can be supported by our mobile activities such as air powered rockets, giant catapults, giant construction tasks to a range of classic military style problem solving command tasks. Activities can be run at your School or support activities such as range days.
Anglia Adventures can deliver highly engaging multi-activity days in the Anglia region using a number of trusted activity centres. Typically 50 or 100 pupils can be provided with an intensive learning experience rotating through Low Rope Command Tasks, High Ropes, Canoeing or Mountain Biking. You and your Cadet Force can rest assured that a fully risk assessed, safe, dynamic and effectively organised day will be delivered. Duke of Edinburgh's Award Expedition & Exercise Support
Anglia Adventures has many years of experience in the safe delivery of outdoor education, residential events and large scale Duke of Edinburgh's Award at Bronze, Silver and Gold level. Expeditions have been successfully supervised & assessed for hundreds of vocational KS4 and sixth form pupils as well as the organisation, training and support of Silver and Gold Award Group cohorts. Pre-expedition advice, support or training is available as well as Mountain Leader and Canoe Coach qualified supervision/organisation Expedition support.
Off the shelf expedition ideas: Bronze walking in Norfolk. 2 x ½ days practical navigation, 2 day practice and 2 day assessment from £170 per candidate. Silver walking in Suffolk & White Peak District area. 2 x ½ days practical navigation, 3 day practice and 3 day assessment from £240 per candidate. Gold walking – Suggest Peaks, Yorkshire or Southern Ireland. Canoeing Bronze, Suffolk practice and Norfolk assessment from £200 per candidate. Gold canoeing, Finland wilderness see "Fantastic Finland" in adult section for basic idea.
Supervisor competence training for teaching staff is also available to meet the recommendations of the Suffolk LEA for supervising remotely supervised expeditions.
